My Love has Cheated
Hello Shawn & Katia,
I fell in love with my partner Tricia three years ago and we have had many happy times together. Recently I have come to believe that on one occasion Tricia cheated on me with a ‘friend’ we both know. I’m convinced she doesn’t love him and don’t know if I can throw away our relationship for the one incident. Of course you should confront her- but not in an accusing way. Talk to her and be non-judgmental and honest. There is still a chance that you could be wrong about the whole thing- and you don’t want her to be upset and her to feel like you no longer trust her. Tell her why you suspect she is cheating. If she confesses, then perhaps the two of you can find a way to work it out. However, if you ignore the situation, you will always wonder.
